EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Ashley/Henry! I love it! I love how he's had feelings for awhile but hasn't wanted anything to change between them, because he couldn't take not having her in his life at all. I like that Ashley's reaction seems to be shock that her best friend likes her likes her, and maybe shes actually okay with that. I love that he knows he cant start anything but he just needs her to know before the possibly get themselves captured or killed or worse...and Ooof, this is pre-finale so I know how that missions turns out. Simply splended! I'd love to see this eventual conversation :D

omg, that post looks AWFUL... MUST go back and edit it *shudder* That's what I get for copying from Word, but I absolutely hate to have typos.

Anyway, I'm thrilled you like it, especially since I like your Henry/Ashley so much :) I kind of think it's clear that the two care about each other so very deeply. The only real question is the exact nature of that caring. I think the possibility of an admission making things worse would absolutely hold Henry back, but that knowing what they were up against this time in particular would compel him to tell her. And Ashley strikes me as a little wrapped up in her own world of hunting monsters and righting wrongs to notice boys much at all, so I'm sure Henry's admission WOULD come as a shock. A WELCOME one, but still...

Yeah, I'd love to write the conversation, but it may have to wait until next season or it risks becoming very AU once the eps start to air. On the other hand, if I tag it as AU in advance... My evil muses already have ideas for it, too.
